๐๐ฅ Christmas Exploding Kittens โ Holiday Family Card Game
Christmas Cat Chaos
Tiny paws. Big holiday trouble. A festive family card game filled with mischievous cats, surprise saves, and playful twists.
Put Down the Phones.
Bring On the Cat Chaos.
Gather around the table for a little friendly mischief. Peek at what is coming, dodge a risky draw, and save your rescue cards for the moment you need them most.
A playful way to spend a cozy evening togetherโ from holiday visits to after-dinner game nights.
Sweet Faces. Sneaky Little Plans.
A startled orange kitten topples the Christmas tree. A sleepy cream cat hides inside a stocking. A curious gray cat sneaks a look inside the presents. Every card brings its own festive personality to the table.
๐ฑ Expressive Cat Illustrations
Fluffy characters, cheeky expressions, and little holiday mishaps give each card a story of its own.
๐ A Coordinated Christmas Look
Colorful card frames, golden details, candy canes, and holly tie the collection together.
Six Ways to Stir Up the Fun
Each card includes an effect and a timing label, so you can check what it does as you play.
๐ฅ Christmas Chaos
Play a Gift Rescue immediately or you are out! If rescued, secretly return this card anywhere in the draw pile.
๐ Gift Rescue
Save yourself from Christmas Chaos. Discard this card, then secretly return the Chaos card to the draw pile.
๐ค Nap Time
End your turn without drawing. If you owe two turns, this skips only one.
๐ฎ Present Peek
Secretly look at the top 3 cards of the draw pile. Put them back in the same order.
๐พ Double Trouble
End your turn without drawing. The next player takes two turns. Cannot be played while you owe extra turns.
๐ Paws Off!
Cancel a Nap Time, Present Peek, or Double Trouble as it is played. Cannot cancel Chaos, Rescue, or another Paws Off!
Dodge the Chaos.
Be the Last Player Standing.
- Get ready. Remove all Chaos and Rescue cards. Give each player 1 Rescue and 5 random action cards. Shuffle the remaining Rescues into the draw pile, then add one fewer Chaos card than the number of players. Shuffle again and set unused Chaos cards aside.
- Play your cards. On your turn, play any number of action cards, resolving them one at a timeโor play none. Keep Rescue cards for emergencies and use Paws Off! when another action is played.
- Draw to finish. Draw one card to end your turn, unless a successful Nap Time or Double Trouble lets you finish without drawing.
- Watch out for Chaos. If you draw Christmas Chaos, use a Gift Rescue and secretly put the Chaos card back in the draw pile. Without a Rescue, you are out. The last remaining player wins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are all 56 cards different?
The deck contains six card types with multiple copies of each. Repeated effects give players more chances to plan, react, and protect themselves.
Do the cards explain their effects?
Yes. Each card has English effect text and a timing label showing when it can be used.
Do we use every card in every game?
Use one fewer Christmas Chaos card than the number of players. Set the extra Chaos cards aside. Each player starts with one Gift Rescue.
Can I use Paws Off! to stop Christmas Chaos?
No. Paws Off! can cancel Nap Time, Present Peek, or Double Trouble before the effect happens. It cannot cancel Christmas Chaos, Gift Rescue, or another Paws Off!
Can we play after Christmas?
Absolutely. The artwork celebrates Christmas, but the game can be enjoyed throughout the year.
